Pontiac Repair: Radio reception/Rear defroster, pontiac g6, radio reception

I have 09 Pontiac G6 (3.5L). This past weekend for the first time I notice that when the rear defroster is turned on I lose radio reception.

Yup pretty common issue. one of more of the defroster grids is broken/burnt. if something rubbed up against the defroster grids and broke the ckt. in any of the lines the radio will cut out. If you have kids or pets it's a sure thing that is what happened. it doesn't take much to damage the lines on the glass. there are repair kits you can get at the parts store to fix that once you find where it is damaged just use the kit and paint over where the break in the line is. Let it sit for a few hours before you try it so the repair is good and dry. good luck :)
