I would like to know all the factors of what causes engine sluged besides neglecting to change the oil what other factors can cause this

ther are a lot of factors. Lack of oil chnages it the biggest!!!! Oil quality non name barnd or store brand oil doesn't meet the current standards that todays engines need. the enviorment you live in cool and damp cliamtes ware more apt to have sludge issues to condensation in the engine crank case doesn't burn off. Short trip driving where the engine doesn't get up to operating tempatures for long enough to burn off the mositure. Plugged or restricted PCV systems on the engines. Low qulaity fuel as well has some effect on sludge. Those are the biggest contributors to sludge! Hope that helps.
