that engine is pretty easy to align the marks. ther is an alignment mark on the crank gear and one on the cam gear. the crank gear is at 12:00 and the cam gear can be at either 12:00 or 6:00 doesn't matter. once the chain is back on and the marks lined up and you have a new tensioner in place for the chain pull the retaining pun that holds the tensioner back off the chain to relase the tension and put pressure on the chain. DO NOT RE USE an old tensioner they are pretty cheap buy a new one.
