Pontiac Repair: SVS/ABS/Traction light, best choise, ac delco

Question
I have a 2002 Grand Am GT 3.4L V6 and these 3 lights comes on when I start my car and stays on. I don't hear any grinding noise as far as I know. There were instances when the light didn't go on right away and when I press on the brake it seems like the ABS would kick in then the lights would go on. Also, I believe I have warped rotors (brake pulsation) in the front wheels. I don't know if that comes into play. Thanks in advance!

Answer
Hi Leo:

Theose lamps are comming on due to an ABS fault. more then likley you have a wheel speed sensor going bad or a harness going to one of the sneors is bad. Usually it's a front wheel on these cars. stop by one of the big box auto parts stores and have the car scanned for codes to see which weel it is. Like I said a front one is likely the culprit. I would advise what ever wheel sensor is bad to replace the jumper harness to it as well. The sensor on these cars are part of the wheel bearing assembly.
Good luck :)

P.S. do not go cheap on the bearing get one from an NAPA store or Carquest. AC delco is the best choise there are a lot of parts stores that carry Delco parts.
