Pontiac Repair: car turns over but wont start sometimes, pontiac g6, car parts stores

have a 06 pontiac g6 3.5 liter v6 has 88000 miles that sometimes wont start. the motor turns over if you do that 2 or 3 times it finnaly starts helps if you pump the gas changed the spark plugs and checked engine position sensor

I would start by having the car scanned for codes and see if any of the modules ahve any codes in them. Any of the big box car parts stores will do this for free and see if there are any communication codes between the modules. You could have an issue with a bad ignition switch or a module that is not waking up when the key is turned on. start from there and see if any codes are stored. Another thing to do it to clean the throttle body and throttle plate they get all carboned up. good luck :)
