I think the Passlock system activates because the Theft System light flashes and I can't start the car until it stops.  It happens more and more and lasts from 10min to 2days.  Is there a way to disable the Passlock system or fix this problem?  Thanks Justin

Hi Justin:

the issue is with the ignition lock cylinder housing. the sensor 9 out of 10 times is the culprit. get a new housing and learn the security system with the new housing. try to crank the car over with the new housing in it and leave the key in the on position with every thing off for 10 minutes untill the lamp stops flashing anf the body control module will learn the new housing and you should be good to go then. You can let your fingers do the walking on the internet and I'm sure you will find way to defeat the system ;)
