Answer
Hi brett:

I assume it's full as well? If the fluid is full and it's slipping there is no easy fix. The transmission is going to have to be torn down and find where the slipping is comming from. First off a line pressure test need to be performed to see what the pump in the trasnmsssion is doing in the different gears and go from there. It can be a lot of things and hopefully it's a fosft part like a seal that rolled over or is torn and no hard metal parts are broken. with out seeing it I can't tell you what the problem is. There are no extranal adjustment in that transmission. Lastly you need to decide if a car that is 17 model years old is wort the price of a transmission repair :(... Good luck :)
