Pontiac Repair: car not shifting correct, engine computer, speed sensor

Question
If ur rpm and mph is not working on cluster wat do u have to do to fix because i got new trans and new engine and car does not shift correct.

Answer
Well if the speedo doesn't work and the trans will not shift. there is an issue with the speed sensor in the transmission or the the wiring to the sensor from the engine computer to the transmission. the speed sensor is an input to the engine computer nd the output from the computer to the speedo and to up shift the transmission.
