how do i replace the sliding panel on the sunroof for my 2007 pontiac grand prix GT  it came off the track

Hi Pete:

Do you mean the sunshade part of the headliner or the whole sunroof glass? I'll assume your talking about the sunshade and not the glass. If it came off the track chances are a piece is either worn on the shade or broke off the shade because they should not come off the track so trying to put it back on may only cause it to come off track again. It's been some time since I hd one of these out but I belive ther are 4 tabs that the shade rides on the track. You can use a small screw driver to pry the sunshade assembly towards one side while gently pushing up on the shade to bow it in the center and taht will allor the tabs on the one side to be pushed up and into the track. good luck :)
