Pontiac Repair: gmc truck, trailer wiring harness, head lamps

i go to turn the signal on in my truck and all lights all signals flash. my horn blows when ever it wants to so i unplugged it and now my signals all work. hmmm any suggestions

Sounds like a ground wire issue. Or a bulb filiment is crossed if it only does it on one side meaning if the the head lamps are on only one side turnsiganl bulbs turn on then it's possible that a fiament in one of the bulbe is bad and it crossed inside the bulb. If you turn on the headlamps and all the turn signal bulbs light up it is a ground wire issue OR if this truck has a trialer wiring harness it's possible that corrosion in the plug for the trialer would be a likley cause. if indeed you have a trailer wiring harness on the truck that is the FIRST place to start looking beofe you start hunting down a bulb or a ground wire. If the plug for the trialer harness is okay loot at where it is tied into the truck for the same kind of an issue corrosion or a rubbed through wire.
