Pontiac Repair: 89 GTA wont start, head lamps, dead battery

Parked it Thursday evening.  Ran fine, no problems, no indications any thing was wrong.  Went to leave Friday morning and it won't start.  Doesn't even try to turn over.  What could it be?

Hey Nick:

I assume it doesn't have a dead battery? the head lamps and power accys work like radio and wipers etc... If so I wouls suspect eithet an issue with the pass key security system or a bad starter motor.  Is the security lamp on when your trying to start it if so I woukd suspect possibly broken wires going to the ignition lock cyliner.. Did you try the second ignition key to staty it? It could also be a bad chip in the key. good luck :)
