Pontiac Repair: 2008 Pontiac G6 wont start, pontiac g6, car stores

Question
Electrical problem
2008 Pontiac G6 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Strange... Drove G6 home from work, got up the next morning and it would not start. All lights, radio, interior lights, power locks, doors all worked. When turned the key to start, nothing. No clicking, just nothing. Moved shifter back and forth to be sure it was is park. Checked all security/ignition fuses and all are ok. Tried puttig in neutral to start, still nothing, no clicking. Battery is good. Went to try to start it the next day, and it started !! What would be causing this issue.

Answer
Hey Jim:

It's an electical issue of some kind but what? all the onboard modules are intertwined on that car if you have 1 module that is actiung up it can cause a wholehost of issues. when it wouldn't crank was the secutity/tehfy light on and or flashing? if so then ther is an issue with the theft module of that module isn't getiing the right info form one of the other modules. if this car has less then 36,000 miles on it it's still unbder warranty take it to the dealer if more then that stop by one of the big box car stores and have then scan for codes in the module on the cvar they do this for free most of thme and see what codes are stored I'm sure there are a slew of them at least you will have somewhere to start looking.
good luck :)
