the car starts, runs for awhile and just dies, any suggestions

What engine is in this 4 cylinder or is it a V6 GT?

When it dies what happens it it like someone turned off the key  or does it spit sputter then stall. when does it do it at a stop light slowing down or at cruising speeds? Does it start right back up or does it labor before it starts?
