Pontiac Repair: mas air flow sensor, pontiac bonniville, mass air sensor

I have a 1992 pontiac bonniville sse supercharged. the car runs great with the mas air flow sensor disconected and wont stay running while connected. why?

well with it disconnect it'm sure it idles olay but it more then likley has a pretty bad hesitation when you drive it that way. Chnaces are the sensor is just bad ot dirty. you can take it off the engein and a company called CRC makes a Mass Air Sensor cleaner. clean the sensing wires off and put it back on if it runs gret then fine if not the sensor is more then likley bad. BUT you could have other issues with this too like a vacuum leak going to the engine or another sensor that is reading incorrectly. Good luck :)
