Pontiac Repair: Grand Prix Electrical, fuse boxes, electric seat

Question
Last night on the way home from work my electric seat heater was extremely hot.  It took awhile to cool it off after turning it off.  This morning the car won't start at all.  I couldn't even get the key out the ignition.  Are there fuses that I can check.  It is a 2002

Answer
Hi Lisa:

That car has 2 fuse boxes one under the hood and one behind the glove box. it's not going to be a fuse issue per say. I think what happend is the heated seat driver module must have stuck on and it may have kept the seat heater on when you shut the car off and killed the battery. Just a guess.. the fuse for the driver seat heat module is labled H/seat/Ill pull out that fuse and get the car jumpstarted and see what happens. after it's running for a while put the fuse back in and see if the seat heat up even know you have the switch in the off position if so that's what happned. Again it's just a guess.
