Pontiac Repair: 99 pontiac grand prix gt, fuel level sensor, pontiac grand prix

Question
I recently bought a used 99 grand prix gt and i'm having a few issues. The fist is the fuel gauges reads differently whenever i look at it and i know its never accurate. My speedometer is also freezing when I accelerate to around 40 to 50 MPH. It will lock up then in about ten seconds (if continuing to speed up) it will make a clicking noise then jolt up. The last problem is my indoor door lock buttons light up, but just don't work. Any insight and estimates to this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
Hey Zac:

#1 you need a fuel level sensor on the fuel pump module in the gas tank.
#2 the speedo cluster is bad it needs an exchange cluster unit from the dealer or an AC Delco repair center.
#3 you need door lock switch. The bulb is not replaceable in it.
As for the $ you got me I just fix em I have nothing to do with how much it costs to fix. but If i had to guess I would say all 3 items parts and labor maybe $600.00

good luck :)
