Pontiac Repair: Headlight trouble, fuse block, pontiac grand am

so im tryin to help a friend out she has a 2000-02 pontiac grand am 2.4L pass hi/low works fine.. drivers side high works fine but the low beam doesnt work. i replaced the headlight and the old filament was burnt out but the light still doesnt work.. not i havent tested the wire with a multimeter yet but even if it doesnt have power where next? i dont have a chiltons book and i get to see her once a week for not long.. because of conflicting work sceduals so i need the whole list possible please of how to fix it.. if you can i would apreciate it thanks..

this couls have an issue with the DRL relay in the underhood fuse block swap it out with another relay in the fuse block with the same part # on th top of the relay It could be an issue with the ALC relay same thing swap it out with another one.. Did you replace the lamps with the correct # bulb if you didn't the lamps will work starange. You also need to see if any body control modyule codes have set. My guess is yes it has a b2600 or b2601 code which are DRL control circuit dtc's. without the use of a scan tool you just going to grasp at straws.. Good luck :)
