Where is the thermostat located on a 94 pontiac Grand am se 3.1? And is it easy to replace

Hey Ron:

it located on the rear of the intake manifold under the throttle body. It' not to bad to replace once you take the htrottle body off the upper intake manifold and the heater bypass pipe off that runs across the front valve cover once both of those things are out of the way you can use a combination wrench to get the one bolt out that is behind the exhaust cross over pipe. It' really not that bad to change it just sounds worse then it is... Good luck :)
