Pontiac Repair: 1995 Grand Prix Engine, engine displacement, cam sensor

I have installed a 3.1 liter engine from a 1992 Grand Prix to a 1995 Grand Prix and there is no location for a cam sensor. Is there any way to bypass the sensor?

No there is not. Sorry to say the engines are different. The electronics that run the ignition and fuel system are completely different. you put a basic older style 3.1 liter engine in a car that needs a 3100 3.1 liter engine. The bolt up for the block is basically the same and the engine displacement but that is where the similarity ends.
