Audi Repair: audi TT electric window switch, jb weld, window switch

QUESTION: Hi, My wife's passenger electric window switch seems to have dropped down. If I get a replacement one how do I fix this?

ANSWER: Usually the plastic sockets crack or break.  You may need to use some JB weld to repair the socket before putting the new switch in.  Unless the old switch simply broke, in which case the replacement will take care of it.  Good luck,  Jan

QUESTION: Thanks Jan. Do I need to remove the door panel or does the switch housing come off without that? I the latter can you please provide some advice on how to remove the housing.
