Pontiac Repair: 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix (GTP) - Right Rear Lights, grand prix gtp, pontiac grand prix gtp

Question
A few days ago, I went to make a right turn and my turn signal began to flash quickly and my dashboard computer said that my rear turn signal was out.  I look at it and none of the lights on the right rear were working.  The left rear is perfectly fine.  I went to the store and bought the two different sized bulbs.  I took my right rear light assembly off and the only bulb that was burned out was the smallest.  I replaced all three, anyway.  Nothing happened.  I've checked several fuses and they seem fine.  I don't know what to do, next.

Answer
Hi Donovan:

turn on the 4 way flashers and walk around the car and see what lamp is out. one of them has to be. If no when you replaced the bulbs in the rear did you replace them with the same Part # bulb. just because they look the same doesn't mean the filiment in them is the same. The Body computer will see an issue if the wrong bulb is installed and the lamp my work but not being the right one will cause the same warning message to come on. a lot of times on these cars the front lamps go out due to a an issue the wiring harness to the lamp corrodes where the lamp attaches to the body harness. Good luck :)
