2000 Pontiac Sunfire-4 cylinder-Daytime running lights blink service engine light is on-right headlight high beam does not work even after  bulb has been changed and fuse is good-

Hey Chris:

the forward lamp harness is bad in this car. There are 4 or 5 splices in that wire harness that get corroded up and cuase the lamps to fail and the DRL indicator to flash and the service vehicle soon lamp to come on. these issues are all related. I don't recomend trying to fix the harness because once you disturb it it's going to be even more prone to getting water in it and you will have the same issue again after the winter/rainey season where you live. Get a new forward lamp harness this one lasted 10 model years. good luck:)
