Pontiac Repair: 02 Pontiac GTP tack not working, spark plug wires, pontiac gtp

Question
Today, we just happened to look outside and seen a squirrel under the car. It appeared to have hopped into the motor. We went and checked and pulled out 4 pinecones which he (the squirrel) had tucked against the exhaust manifold. No big deal we took them out then started the car to encourage the squirrel that this car was occupied... then discovered the tack was not working. We are assuming the squirrel chewed off some wire someplace, where would I start to look?

Answer
Hi dave:

take a look at the wires around the coi/ignition module assembly that is wher the spark plug wires are ther is a harness under the coils that attaches the engine harness to the module. look ther first and then trace the harness back across the engine towards the air cleaner box If it's a tac wire it's in that harness where the issue will be. We get a lot of "rodent" dameag here in suburban Buffalo as well :( !
