Pontiac Repair: Front turn light, pontiac firebird, rest work


Question
QUESTION: Replaced all bulbs front and back. Front turn light will light up but not flash. The rest work properly, on the dash, front and rear. What could be causing just one light to not flash?

ANSWER: model car/suv and year?

QUESTION: 2000 Pontiac Firebird Base model 3.8 V6. I also checked the flasher and the fuses. I dont think any are blown.

It's not a flasher or a fuse issue due to the fact that the other 3 corners work. My best guess is the DRL "daytime running lamp" module is bad the turn siganl battery supply volatge runs through that module I would venture to guess that the module is bad and the bulb will either not flash or will not turn on due to a bad module. It's odd in this car but I have seen it happen in the Transsport vans a lot It's the same basic system in both models.
