Pontiac Repair: 2000 Pontiac Montana, pontiac montana, hi position

I have a 2000 Pontiac Montana v6, and i am having trouble with the front ac blower motor. The blower is stuck on high speed and will not change, no matter what setting you have it on. Most of the time it will turn off with the ignition, but i have had to pull the fuse to get it to turn off. Any suggestions?

The problem here is with the blower resistor. there is a relay inside the resistor that controls the fan's HI speed the replay contacts are more then likley stuck in the on posiition. Not all that common of an issue but it does happpen. The other possability is the fan switch contacts may be stuck in the HI position. Mot all that likely but it can happen. Good luck :)
