i can't retract piston in rear brake calipers, is there a special tool, and what is it called?

Hi Doug:

Yes there is a special too, you need to do this. You can buy a universal tool that has different size nubs on a little metal square block you put a 3/8" extension bar in the tool and position the tool on the piston and you actually reotate the piston back into the caliper rather then compressing the piston with a c-clamp. Most big box car parts stores will sell this adaptor tool to retarct the pistion back into the caliper. Good luck :0
