Pontiac Repair: serpentine belt, pontiac gran prix, gran prix 3

it is a 1999 pontiac gran prix 3.8 litre v6 with a super charger.  i need to replace the serpentine belt and bypass the air compressor.

Hi Michael:

I can't really help you out here I'm not a parts guy. But I do belive if you look around you can find a kit that will have a pulley that you bolt on to the engine to take the place of the a/c compressor and then you would use the same belt that you would if the compressor was still on the engine. Try a "google" search or even e-bay and see if you can find one of those kits. Thay make them for a lot of car/engine configurations. There may be one for your car.
