My 1996 2 door pontiac grand am passenger side window motor needs to be replaced do i have to replace the regulator also

No the motor is serviced by it's self. You can get just the motor but from past experince I would say get the regulator as well. They have a tendency to bend and rust up and help the motor burn out before it's time so If you can find one cheap it's better to do it all at one time instead of haveing to do the job again in a few months. Look on E-bay there is a place something like "a-1" automotive that sells a lot of parts cheap for gem cars and truck. Good luck :)
