Pontiac Repair: fan relay switch, radiator fan, pontiac grand am

1996 Pontiac Grand Am SE, 2.4L engine, 4 cylinder. where is the radiator fan relay located on this car. Its overheating and the fan won't run but if you bypass everything and hook it up straight it does.

Hi Tammy:

there is a relay block up on the right side of the engine compartment by the strut tower and the relay is in that cluster or wires. look at the color of the wires at the fan and find the replay that has the same color wire on it for the power feed and that's the relay for the fan.
