Pontiac Repair: turn signal problem, signal problem, moisture problem

Hi, Todd.
My 2000 2.2L Sunfire's turn signal got problem in rainy days.
At intersection, it stop blinking and clicking after a few clicks with lever in place. If manually turn the signal off and on again, it will click again.
Is it a moisture problem? If it is, where I should start to look, any special equipment involved?

Hi Larry:

try this turn on the 4 ways and walk around the car and make sure you have the lamps flashing in all 4 conrers of the car. If so all the bulbs and wiring are okay. if not start there. You could have a wiring issue or a bulb out.. If they are all working then I would look at the t/s it's self.Either a switch or a flasher element is bad on this. Usually the flasher element is the part that goes bad not the switch. No special tools needed It's pretty straight forward.
