Pontiac Repair: 2007 pontiac grand prix blower, pontiac grand prix, screw driver

I have a 2007 pontiac grand prix (V-6 3800) 50K miles. The blower (heat/ac) just started to work sporadically. I have power to rear defrost, etc. but blower only works sometimes-any suggestions on where to start?

Hi Nick:

well it's either the blower motor it's self has a dead spot and it starts to work when you hit a bump or the blower motor control module is bad. that is loaced in the heater box right next to the motor it's self. There is also the possability of a bad connection as well next time it quits working tap on the motor with a screw driver and see if it starts to run if so it's the motor is bad. Good luck :)
