Pontiac Repair: Poor Heating, upper radiator hose, warranty repair

Just wondering how hard it is to change a thermostat on a 2006 sv6 with a 3.5, temp gauge seems to stay halfway between c and 1/2. Air is not vary warm  Thanks Heath

Hi Heath:

well first off if the van has less than 36,000 miles and is less than 3 years old it's a warranty repair. If over that then It's a bit in depth. You have to take the htrottle body off the engei nand the heater pip off that goes actroos the front valve cover and the thermostat is thight there then it's at the engine side of the upper radiator hose.
