QUESTION: Have 2007 g6 4 cylinder i know there is nothing wrong with it no error codes. Can you tell me how to disconnect the engine light?

ANSWER: Hi There:

If the serice engine lamp is on there is an issue somewhere. that has to be a code in the engine control module or one of the other modules that is making the lamp turn on. there is no way to just disconnect the lamp. It's part of the insterment cluter assembly. There is an off chance that their is an issue with the insterment cluster it's self and it's keeping the lamp on but I doubt it.

QUESTION: My 2007 g6 telescopic steering comes out o.k. but when it does it goes off track and I have to take screws off the bottom of it and fix it. I tighten the screws but it still comes off when I pull it out. Can you tell me how to fix this? What am I doing wrong? Please help me.

something must be bent on the mounts for the steering column. Nothing on that is serciced other then the switches and the covers that cover up the switches. My guess is in the collision that set off the air bags it damaged the steering column in some way with out seeing it it's hard to say for sure what it wrong with it.
