My sunroof will not close all the way. It opens completely but it will not close, it stays open about 3/4 of an inch in the rear. I've checked and there is nothing blocking the tracts and it does not appear that anything is broken.

Well it's either the motor of the control module for the motor. The motor has what's called soft stop switches in it. That is the switche that tell the control module where the motor/window is like the vent position has a stop the full closed and full open are all inputs to the crontrol module for positions of the glass. If the switches in the motor are bad it tells the module to stop the motor at those spots. If the switches are not bad in the motor the control moudle is at fault.. It can also be the tracks are jamming up at that position as well. Without seeing it it's hard to say for sure what's wrong with it. All the pieces I mentioned are serviced speratly you don't need a complete assembly. Good luck :)
