Pontiac Repair: Power door locks inop, power door locks, keyless entry system

Question
I have a 1999 Chevy Suburban. The door locks do not work when using the door panel rocker switch or the keyless entry system. When I push the button I get a clicking and partial movement of all of the solenoids in all door locks. It appears like the solenoids in the doors do not have enough power to move the mechanism, or the mechanism needs to be lubed. I am also wondering if there is some sort of relay in the system that may not be sending enough power to each of the solenoids. If I repeatedly push the button to lock or unlock the vehicle each successive time I push the button the click and the partial movement by the solenoids gets weaker and weaker. Thank YOU

Answer
Hi Mike:

Yes there is a relay that runs the actautors but chances are that that is not the issue. Usually it's the actautors them self's that have gone bad. Yes I know how can they all go bad well it was a gradual thing and you probably didn't notice it untill they all started to act up. try replacing just the drivers door or what ever one you feel most confortable doing aand see if it works if so then the other ones will have to be replaced as well. good luck :)
