Pontiac Repair: anti-theff, pontiac sunfire, remote start

I have a 1998 pontiac sunfire with the anti-theff light on, it will run only a few sec. and it will stop,tried the amswear you gave leaving the key open 10min and car still wont run please help.

The most likely cause for this is the ignition lock housing. ther is a sensor in there that goes bad about 90% of the time. the other thing to look at is if this has an alarm or remote start hooled u pto the car look to see if it has a bad connection where it was hooked up to the car I have seen that happen a bunch of times as well.
