Pontiac Repair: bonniville overdrive problems, rd gear, clutch assembly

I own a 95 bonniville with the supercharged 3800 moter. The problem is when the car warms up it will shift out of overdrive and will not return again until the car is cold again

well this car has an electric shift transmission. it could be soemthing as simple as a shift solenoid when it gets hot that it will not allow 4'th gear to turn on. does it hang in 3'rd gear or does it tryt to shift into 4'th and there is nothing ther and the engine just rev's high? If so ther is a mechanical issue inside the trasnmission with 4'th gear and it's clutch assembly.
