I have a 2001 pontiac aztek and I cant get my alarm to blink....I just bought the car and anything you could do to help me would be great..thanks in advance

does the keyless entry work on the car? lock/unlock the doors? If not then I would start looking there. if just the "panic" button doesn't work and it's just on one remote I would supect that remote is the culprit.. Other than that these suv's have all kinds of keyless entry and body control module issues and it could be a lot of different things. I would get it scanned for codes at one of the big box autoparts stores and see what kind of codes are stored in it especially in the body control module. Good luck :)

P.S. not all of these were equipped with the content theft option.
