Pontiac Repair: 2001 bonneville blows hot air from pass side cool on drivers side, pontiac bonneville, passanger side

I have a issue with this car . It works good (ac system blows cold) on the drivers side and blows warm air from the pass side and rear vents. If I adjust it to the hottest setting(rotate the dial to 901 degrees) on the pass. side it really doesn't get hot just really stays the same,warm any ideas? 2001 pontiac bonneville sle

Is the temperature a huge difference. By that I mean does it actually feel like the heater is operating on the passanger side, or just not cool air, if you understand.
If it just feels like not cool air, I would HIGHLY suspect a low freon charge. These vehicles are pretty well known for this.
If it actually fees like the heater is on, I would get the HVAC system scanned for codes first, I would then have the data checked and see if the passanger side temperature actuator is moving. I would get teh wiring checked and also make sure the actuator is getting a signal from the control head.
If everyhting checks out, it may be the actuator (another semi common problem)
I would HIGHLY recommend having the freon level/charge professionally checked. This will eliminate a common cause.
