Pontiac Repair: ahahaah, pontiac sunbird, cam shaft

my Pontiac sunbird 1989 se 2.0L 4 cylinder is not working. the car is turing over but there is no spark. the spark plugs are good and i just replaced the coil what can i do?

well a few things to chck first. when it turns over does the engine sound right? those engines were noted for timing belts breaking and then the cam shaft would not turn thus no spark.  if that is okay then the next place to go is tn the distributor. it could be either the ignition module or the pick up coil in the distributor. does the car have fule going into the TBI unit when you are cranking it? if yes then I doubt it's a pick up coil. juts a few things to check. good luck :}
