Pontiac Repair: Blinker problems, bump in the road, sied

Question
Hello and thank you for your help. I would like to know what is causing my blinker to short out. I replace the bulb and a few hours later it is blown if I jiggle it it will work for a while then it is back out. now the other blinker is doing it as well? Do you think it is just a problem with the blinker or a bigger electrical issue? And how much would something like this cost to repair.

Answer
Hi May:

What type of car is this ? Model I mean? if you wiggle the bulb and it starts to owrk either the socket or circuit board that the bulb is plugged into is the problem. There must be a bad connection there and when you wiggle the bulb it starst to work again untill you hit a bump in the road and it jars the bulb loose again. depending on what model car it is you will have to replace the socket or the circuit board tha the bulb goes into on both sied of the car where the issues are.
