Pontiac Repair: Radio Wiring Help, delco radio, power fuses

I took the factory Delco radio/tape player out of my 1996 Pontiac Grand Am SE and was going to hook up a c/d player. I didn't like the way it looked, so now i want to put the factory radio back in. I connected all the wires back together and nothing has come on. Don't the same colors connect to each other? Please help. Need radio to work?

Well if you have the original plugs for the radio then yes all the same color wires are hooked back up again to each other. You may have blown a fuse. that radio I think has 2 power fuses one that is hot all the time even with the key off for the clock memory and a second power wire that is hot when the key is in the on position. If all the wires are connected properly and the fuses are good it should work. Good luck :)
