Question
I am getting a CEL with a code of P0108.  Surprisingly the car continues to run fine, with no noticable effects; possibly mileage has suffered slightly though.  Where is the MAP sensor located and will replacing it fix this code?

Answer
Hey Dean:

The MAP sensor is lotated on the top of the engine near the alternator. It is a black plastic piese with one connector on it with 3 wires in the connector. I can't tell you if changing it will turn off the lamp or not. You could have a wiring issue going to the sensor or even a bad engine computer that isn't seeing the signal from the sesnor. I can tell you that they do not go bad all that often but I have changed them from time to time. Good luck :)
