Pontiac Repair: running badly, crank sensor, cam sensor

Question
I couldn't ask another fallow-up so I'm starting new. I changed the crank sensor and cam sensor, nothing. We changed the coil pack, alternator and battery and finally found out the ground wasn't making a good conection. Fixed that, car runs good. Check engine light back on but still running fine. The only thing I haven't changed is the MAF. Can you tell me how to check it before I have to buy another one?

Answer
If it's still running badly and hesitatin just unplug it and see if it runs better and the hesitation goes away. It may lack power when you drive it but if the hesitation is gon you found the problem. I would fist off take it to see what code is in the computer before you go any further. when you unplug that MAF sensor the engine computer runs on sort of a backup default and uses a substitute reading for that sensor based on the MAP and TP sensors. Good luck :}
