Pontiac Repair: 2003 Montana sliding door, plungers, door buzzer

The open door buzzer continues after the driver side sliding door on our 2003 Montana is closed. At times the door would not open when the button was pressed and sometimes would not open or close without being pulled manually. Could you possibly know what the problem could be?

Take a look at the contactor and plungers on the sliding door. the contact is on the pillar just behinf the drivers door where the sliding door closes onto and the plungers are sticking out of the door and contact that plate on the pillar. If those contacts are green and corroded looking that could be the cause. clean the contacts and plungers up with some fine grit sand paper and give it a try.
