Pontiac Repair: Sunfire 2005 after collision wont start, 2005 pontiac sunfire, fuse box

Question
I have a 2005 Pontiac Sunfire Ecotec 2.2
I was involved in a frontal crash and everything is fixed, has a new battery, and when open the doors everything lights up, but the car just wont start. tried everything but cant get it to start. Does it have a collision shut off like Ford's? or is it the any theft system?? how can we make it work??

Answer
Hey sergio:

No no crash shut off on these cars. What happens when it will not start? does it crank? does it start and then stall? there is a theft system on these cars and when that is active the tehft light will flash on the dash baord. if that is not on and flashing it's not a theft system problem. first and foremost I would check all the fuses.there is a fuse box under the hood by the battery and one inside the car on the side of the dash on the drivers side. I would suspect that there is an issue in the under hood fuse area or a wiring issue in the front of the car as a result from the collision.

good luck :)
