Pontiac Repair: turn signal not flashing, pontiac trans am, light flashes

My son has a 2000 Pontiac Trans Am. His passenger turn signal will not flash. If you turn the lights on it lights. If you turn the turn signal on, it stays constant on(with the lights on) or stays dark with lights off. All the while the rear light flashes correctly with lights on or off. Any help?

Hey Craig:

It sounds like a bulb issue with that car. turn on the 4 way flashers and walk around the car and see which bulb is not working or looks brighrer than the rest. when you find that that is going to be the issue with the turn signals. the 4 way and turn signals use the same wires and bulbs. good luck :}
