Pontiac Repair: 1999 Sunfire Plug Wire Order, exhaust stroke, compression stroke

What order (from left to right) do the plug wires go on to the distributor on my 1999 Sunfire 2.2L ?  I know the firing order is 1-3-4-2...is that the order of the wires from left to right as well ?  Thanks !

It doesn't matter this engine is direct injection meaning that the plugs fire at the same time That is 2 at a time. as long at 1,4 are on the same coil and 3,2 are on the other it doesn't matter. The coil fires the one plug when it's on the top of compression stroke and the second coil is when the cylinder is at the top of the exhaust stroke. So it doesn't matter. What does matter is that you have them on the correct coil pack. The coil's are marked anyways unless the coils have been replaced on this car. I for the life of me can't remeber which coil pack is which. On a few of those older cars the coils were maked on the emission label under the hood the same one that shows you vacuum lines and the engine size will sometimes have the coils marked. Sorry I can't help you much more than that. If nothing else you now know how the coils fire the plugs! Good luck :}
