Where is the starter located on a Pontiac Sunfire 2002 sedan?

Hey Simon:

It depends on what engine is in the car but they are all in the same spot. Just on some engine you an see it and som you can't. It's located on the left side of the engine block which is the side of the engine that faces the front of the car. if' it a 2.2 Liter Non double overhead cam eco tech engine it' right at the bottom of the block and easy to see. if it's a 2.4 liter quad engine it tuched up under the intake manifold. If it's a 2.2 liter eco tech it's also tucked up uner the manifold. The last 2 are harder to change because you can't realy see what yout doing.. Good luck :}
