Pontiac Repair: 93 Grand Am SE wont start, blown fuse, fuse box

Question
I parked my grand am one day no problem, the next day i got in the car turned the ignition key and it sounds like the car isn't getting gas. I checked the starter, the battery, the fuel pump, and have replaced a few parts. I realized that the instrument panels lights aren't coming on the other day. so i ck'd the fuse box. it seems like the row that contains my fuel pump inj, auges, engine controls and etc is not getting any juice, what can be the problem.. help!!! by the way it's a V4 OHC.

Answer
Hi Kiki:

did you check that row in the fues box with the ignition in the run position? If so and you hve no power there it's either a bad ignition switch or a blown fuse/fuseable link It depends on the year there are either large MAXI fuses in a box near the battery or it has fusable links on the starter motor. That's where I would start This is old enough that I more than likely has fuable links instead of maxi fuses. Good luck :}
